Our little miss Charlotte is here. She was born August 23 at 10:01am. She was 8pounds 5oz. She was a big girl for her mama.
I will spare everyone the details from the labor, but I will tell you it was not an easy labor and is was not the most difficult either. Let's just say the doctors said that Jared's was difficult and Charlotte's was in the middle of a difficult scale. However my opinion (the one giving birth) would have said Jared was easy and Charlotte was DIFFICULT!
Anyways, she is doing great and so am I. Chris was a great support for me while in labor. Jared did a great job as well. He did a good job of hanging out with Grandma Jovita while mom and dad were busy with Charlotte. My mom was helping us out for two weeks and then Grandma Terry came out for two weeks. They were a fantastic help! Jared enjoyed the special time he got with each of them and we enjoyed the company and extra set of hands. Here are some pictures of the first couple of weeks.
Jared's first day of school
Jared's first Tball practice
After both Grandma's left I had my first couple of days with just me and the TWO kids. I think I did pretty good.
Then we had some visitors come. Papa John and Grandma Kathy. We were all beyond excited to have them visit. They got to meet Charlotte for the first time and our house. We had a camp fire one night. Grilled out another and we saw the Air Force Museum with them as well. See pictures below.
When little miss Charlotte was a month and 3 days old she rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time. Things are still very exciting in this household and I do not see them getting less fantastic any time soon. Jared is really enjoying preschool and both swim and T-ball. He is still loving being a big brother. Which is great! With fall festivals arriving I can not wait to take pictures and share our fun family moments with you. I hope to get better at updating the blog so everyone can share our memories with us. Talk to you all soon.
This was our first fall harvest event.
Love you all.
ps it took me four days to put this blog together.
hope you enjoyed the pictures :)
